De-Lish Dessert Expo FAQs
This document includes information to answer frequently asked questions for De-Lish Dessert Expo Attendees and Guests.
EVENT ATTENDEES:
DESSERT CHEF – Bakers, Dessert Chefs, Dessert makers of various levels of skill that have agreed to showcase their talents and or sell their dessert products at the De-Lish Dessert Expo.
GUESTS (VIP or General Admission) –
Attendees that have paid the appropriate VIP or General admissions entry fee.
FOOD VENDOR –
Vendors that have paid the Food Vendor fee to sell their own food or non-alcoholic drinks to expo attendees.
NON-FOOD VENDOR –
Vendors that have paid the Non-Food Vendor fee to sell their non-food merchandise to expo attendees.
Are alcoholic foods or drinks permitted?
No. Alcoholic foods are not permitted at the De-Lish Dessert Expo. Alcohol is not permitted to be sold or consumed on the premises used for this event.

DESSERT CHEF FAQs
SET-UP AND SPACE INFORMATION:
What is the price of a Dessert Chef space?
The cost of a Dessert Chef space is $30. Note: Discounts may be applied at the Organizer's discretion.
Are Dessert Chefs required to display signage about their products?
Yes. Signage to advertise your dessert(s) and prices give Dessert Chef the best opportunity to showcase and sell desserts.
What is the size of Dessert Chef Space?
10 ft. x 10 ft.
Will tables, table clothes or chairs be provided?
No. Dessert Chefs and Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, table clothes, chairs, etc. to equip and setup their spaces.
Rentals: There will however be table and chair sets available for rental, while supplies last.
What are the important times for Dessert Chef Setup and Breakdown?
Setup 9:30 am – 11:00 am
Publicity, Photo Session 11:00 am
Breakdown 5:00 pm
Are generators or other portable generators permitted?
No. Generators are not permitted
Will Electric, Refrigeration or ways to keep foods hot/cold be provided?
No. Dessert Chefs are responsible for keeping their foods refrigerated or heated within the expo guidelines.
Are Dessert Chefs responsible for the clean-up and trash removal of their own space?
Yes. Dessert Chefs are responsible for cleanup and trash removal of their own space. All space or used by Dessert Chefs are to be left broom-swept at the close of the expo event. All bags of debris or trash are to be deposed of in the proper receptacle or taken by the Dessert Chef.
SAMPLES & SALES GUIDELINES:
Are alcoholic foods or drinks permitted?
No. Alcoholic foods are not permitted at the De-Lish Dessert Expo. Alcohol is not permitted to be sold or consumed on the premises used for this event.
Are Dessert Chefs required to have Samples of their Desserts?
Yes. The expo is a fundraising event where Guests have purchased tickets to sample desserts of their choosing. The dessert samples will be provided by the expo Dessert Chefs to give Guests the opportunity to taste and sample offerings, to inspire further dessert interests or sales.
Are Dessert Chefs allowed to sell Samples?
No. Samples are to be provided to expo Guests as a part of their VIP or General Admission.
Are Dessert Chefs allowed to sell their desserts?
Yes. Dessert Chefs are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to sell their desserts to expo Guest to increase their sales, increase product recognition and improve opportunities for future business.
Are Dessert Chefs required to sell their desserts?
While Dessert Chefs are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to sell their products, the decision to sell desserts is up to the Dessert Chef.
What types of Desserts can I have for Samples or Sale?
Types of Desserts:

Custards and Puddings. Creamy custards and puddings typically include a thickened dairy base.

Frozen Desserts. Something to cool the palate like ice cream.

DESSERT SAMPLE GUIDELINES - What is the recommend size and quantity for Dessert Samples?
SIZE: Dessert samples are to be bite sized.
QTY: It is recommended that Dessert Chefs have a minimum quantity of 100 samples for the event.

PRICE GUIDELINES - What are the PRICE GUIDELINES for Dessert Chef Sales?
The selling prices for dessert sold by Dessert Chef’ are at the Dessert Chef’s discretion. However, it is recommended that Dessert Chef have desserts for sale starting at $3 to $5 for low cost items.

Are Dessert Chefs allowed to sell products or services other than desserts?
Yes. Dessert Chefs may sell other industry related products or services.
VENDOR FAQs

The cost of a Vendor space is $40 for a 10ft x 10ft space. Discounts may be applied at the Organizer's discretion.

The use of “sterno” f Cans for heating is permitted.
How many people are permitted per Vendor Space?
Vendor fee covers a maximum of 3 people per Vendor Space

What is the price of Guest Tickets?
VIP Admission $20
General Admission $12.

What can Guests Expect?

Dessert Sampling - Guest will have access to dessert samples provided by Expo Dessert Chefs. The total number of samples for each guest is according to the Guest’s admission ticket type.

Dessert Sales – Dessert Chefs will be selling their dessert products. Please be prepared to not only sample dessert products but also to purchase.

Vendor Sales (Food and Non-Food Vendor) – Merchandise can be purchased from food and non-food vendors other than Dessert Chefs.
